A very favorite teacher of mine used to say, "Just remember, it seemed like a good idea at the time." And now, something else seems like a good idea. We all change; we expand with each of life's experiences. So, decisions that we made a year ago or a minute ago or seven weeks ago don't fit us anymore; this is what we need to do now. It's okay to change your mind, change
directions, change your life in any way that you choose to. It's okay to say "No" today when you said "yes" two weeks ago.
Practice feeling your feelings and your body sensations when you think of making choices. In that first instant of choosing, did it feel good…or not? We came into this physical world with two consciousness tools: our mind to focus thought, and our solar plexus to translate emotion. So practice how it feels. It will feel very subtle in the beginning, and the more you practice, the better you'll get and the more confident you'll feel as you make choices.
Also remember, there are at least 150 ways to do everything…there are 150 ways to wash the dishes, if you wanted to research it--but who wants to? So if one way doesn't work out, you've got 149 to go. Have fun with it!"
